“The house was a perfect size for the 3 of us. My grandson enjoyed crabbing and fishing off the dock. We rented bikes nearby and went for a nice bike ride around Blackwater Refuge. Loved the sunrises and sunsets and the extremely peaceful location. We even had a little visitor. My grandson named the little kitty Hooper. ”

“We had a wonderful stay. It was just a short walk to the beach. Found lots of sea glass. The neighborhood was quiet, the house had everything you could need and most importantly, it just felt cozy. The hosts were very sweet as well. Would definitely stay here again. ”

“Check in was very easy and the kitchen was very up to date with modern appliances. I loved the high end oven and stove top and the water cooler.”

“We had a fantastic stay at the Hideaway in Hays Beach. We were coming up to see our 93yr old Grandmother who lives about 45 minutes away. Our families rented two homes in the area and were able to enjoy our time with three generations that aren’t able to see each other often. The home was exactly as shown, perfectly decorated and incredibly well stocked! We’d absolutely come back!”

“The house was exactly how the pictures showed !Cute and cozy ,and clean ! Im a country girl and felt at home sitting on the porch,enjoying the breeze. The sound of the ocean was a bonus!! Quiet and peaceful. I enjoyed the beautiful sunrises and morning walk on the dock. Overall i enjoyed my stay appreciate the hospitality of the host and would booked again !! ”

Not so but far otherwise…it was if anything even better condition than two years ago. The bay and the birds are the reason we come and the house just enhances the experience. ”

The private beach is beyond charming and the local spots are amazing. We recommend the frying pan and highly HIGHLY recommend the spider hall farm stand (get the apple cobbler). Nonetheless the cottage is truly amazing and a perfect get away. ”

“This was the perfect spot for our first vacation with our baby. Quiet, private, and fun! So glad we stayed. ”

“This house is beautiful and has everything anyone could ask for. The scenery is spectacular too. We enjoyed sitting outside watching the sun set, just listening to the water and enjoying a fire on the beach. The kitchen is any cook's dream! The owners are wonderful and communicated with us wonderfully. We would give it a 10 rating if possible and will certainly be back. One of our best vacations!”

We were visiting from Indiana to attend my son and his wife’s baby shower! The hosts had little snacks, coffee, beach towels, etc at the ready. Everything was so clean and comfortable!
