"This was a low key girls trip weekend. 7 busy mom's of teenagers and we try to get together on a trip once a year. We wanted somewhere close and this lake house looked perfect! The house looked exactly like the pictures. Plenty of space and bedrooms for 7 people. The view from the back is the lake and marina and it was beautiful! The lake house is about 10 minutes from restaurants in Somerset. There was a convenience store close as well if you needed a few forgotten items. There are cute boutiques throughout the town for some shopping too. We loved this property but we loved the owners even more. There was an unfortunate issue with the plumbing which turned into a larger issue. We called Terri and she was so kind. We were all a bit panicked but she had a plumber, her contactors and the cleaning lady over asap! She just wanted us taken care of. Knowing we couldn't stay there she graciously relocated us to another rental unit to regroup. It wasn't ready for guests yet but she allowed us to stay the day there so we could get ready for dinner at Guthrie's ( which I highly recommend). We decided to cut our weekend short and go home after dinner. Terri offered to pay for a hotel for us but we wouldn't have it. Terri was so worried our weekend was ruined that she went over and above what we expected. She refunded our stay and contacted the restaurant to buy our dinner. We were all just speechless. The plumbing situation was unforseen and could have happened to anyone. I was worried for her and the headache of getting all that repaired! However, Terri was so thoughtful and kind that she just wanted 7 mom's to be taken care of. If I have a chance to go back to Somerset, I would definitely rent from Terri again. She was easy to talk with and takes care of her property and her guests!"

"This is a wonderful, well appointed little cottage with a great view. The deck is fantastic and a nice place to relax outside. The cottage has everything you need including paper towels and toilet paper. It is tastefully decorated and furnished. We hope to visit again.."

"we went to Somerset for the summer nights cruise. This hotel is very nice and comfortable. The staff was wonderful and they addressed every need. Our beds and pillows were very comfortable. Their breakfast was hot and very good and very well displayed. I would absolutely stay here again!"

"We rented this cabin for a Labor Day weekend get away. Everything was very clean, the right amount of space to meet our needs, and very close to the Burnside Marina! We would for sure come back."
