"The location of the Hostel is the biggest selling point, right by the riverside with a short walk to the Old Town, it was a prime spot for everything we wanted to see and do in Gdansk. Unfortunately the positives don't extend much further, and you will struggle to get a decent nights sleep, especially if you are a light sleeper. "I had a wonderful stay at the Rezydent Hotel Sopot. My room was beautifully appointed and the branded toiletries were very much appreciated and of a very high quality. The room was spotless and luxurious. I didn’t avail of breakfast but after dinner in the hotel’s restaurant on my first night in Sopot I decided I wasn’t eating anywhere else for my remaining two nights. The food in the restaurant is excellent and the staff who served me each night were so friendly yet very professional. A special mention to Konrad on the front desk who welcomed me on arrival and was very informative, warm and friendly. I chose the Rezydent as it was the nicest 5 star hotel in the Gdansk area on Expedia and as a solo traveller I like luxurious accommodation to return to after days exploring. The train station is a 2 minute walk from the hotel and Sopot is in the middle of the tricity - Gdansk, Sopot and Gdynia. Gdansk is 19 min by train in one direction and Gdynia is 9 minutes in the other direction. Sopot proved to be the perfect base to explore all three places and it was a beautiful location to return to after my day trips to Gdansk and Gdynia. I highly recommend the Rezydent hotel and Sopot as a base for exploring this area. "
