This attractive and well-maintained apartment is located on the second of a two floor Villa and is situated less of 200 mt walking distance from the town center of Sorrento.
Surrounded by a beautiful Italian Garden and overlooking the Bay of Naples this property offers stunning views of Vesuvio and the Sorrentine Coastline. Villa Donna Elisa has No Pool, the client can access to the neighbor Hotel Vittoria ' pool for an extra charge ( admtion not guarantee, at Hotel discretion).
An ideal accommodation for a professional couple or a family looking for a peaceful corner to spend a quiet holiday. Villa Donna Elisa is located just a few steps from Piazza Tasso and Piazza Lauro.
Surrounded by a luxuriant garden in the ideal location for visiting Sorrento and the many itineraries for discovering the Sorrento Peninsula, the water shed between the Gulfs of Naples and Sorrento, with Punta Campanella, which separates the Sorrento coast from the Amalfi coast.
Sorrento is very well served by public transportation, both by land, with the light rail line Circumvesuviana (train st. just 200 mt. from Villa), which connects with Naples in 1h., the excavations at Pompei in 1/2 h. an 1 h. and those of Ercolano in 50 min., and by sea, with the direct Naples - Sorrento hydrofoil (35 min.) and the Metro del Mare that, from Porto Marina Piccola (where the hydrofoils leave for Capri and Ischia), 0.5 km from the Villa, with numerous boat reaches Naples in 45 min., Positano in a 30' and Amalfi in 1 h..The CTP buses for tourists provide a 24 h. connection between all main touristic points.
Staying at Villa Donna Elisa you will be able to visit Sorrento and the surrounding area in a very relaxed way, having as a home base a lovely apartment just out of the noisy center.
In a few minutes you will be able to reach the historical heart of the town, with its charming alleys, full of life and colors, its monuments, such as the cathedral or the Cloister of San Francesco, its beautiful gardens.
He had several good reasons for choosing this spot, and it is for these same reasons that modern-day travelers are spellbound by this amazing villa. From the large and splendid terrace, placed directly above the sea, you will be able to admire the incomparable scenery of Sorrento and the tall cliffs that dive into the sea.
A bit further in the distance, your sight will rest on the large arc of the Gulf of Naples, with the characteristic cone of Mount Vesuvius right in the middle of it.
Closer by, you will be able to see other elegant historical mansions, which now are luxury hotels. If you lean from the balustrade of the terrace, you will see the green-azure sea of Sorrento right below you, with its long, thin strips of beaches, colored by lounges and umbrellas.

Magical! The villa is beyond expectations in every way. Perched high on a cliff overlooking the Sorrento Marina. The entire private site is beautiful garden with lemon trees, flowers everywhere and too many plant species to list. The location in Sorrento is the best. We wished we could stay there indefinitely. Wonderful apartment

Beautiful apartment very close to Piazza Tasso. Very easy walk everywhere. So clean and comfortable! Loved every minute of our stay. Property manager was quick to reply and easy to communicate with us. View of Napoli Bay and Napoli. Would definitely stay again.

The property was even more beautiful than it looked in the photos. The interior is very retro 70s and the grounds are just amazing. Every time we walk through the gate I felt like we were walking through a park on the way to the front door. It was really surprising to us that when you walked out the back, you were actually right over the harbor and had another private outdoor space.. The location is walking distance from everywhere and the spot is really very special.

Beautiful Villa and location

Outstanding Villa with stunning views across the bay. Everything is on your doorstep, restaurants, bars, shopping and the harbour for day trips by boat. The gardens in the Villa are stunning and it’s very quiet which is very welcomed as Sorrento town is very busy.

Villa Donna Elise has everything you can ask for. Location, location, location! Close to Piazza Tasso, Marina Piccola and Grande, trains, buses, restaurants and shopping to name a few. Oh, did I mention the most spectacular view you’ll have the joy of enjoying everyday?! They say artwork can never replicate the beauty of nature. When you see this view, you’ll appreciate that statement more than ever. This villa was one of the vacation highlights of my life. From check in to checkout everything was perfect. Bruno and Frederica made sure they were there to help with anything we needed. From rides to tours to restaurant recommendations, they couldn’t have been more helpful. If you’re looking for a truly memorable vacation experience, book this Villa today.

Our Villa in Sorrento.

The Villa is centrally located and an easy walk to everything in Sorrento. The train station is a 5 minute walk. Communication with Bruno was very good. His assistant, Federica, communicated with us on the day of our arrival as we were coming from Naples on the ferry. The Villa was everything we hoped for during our stay. The view was spectacular. And the garden as you enter the property was beautiful. There were a couple of minor issues, which Federica quickly resolved so as not to disrupt our stay. We would definitely stay at the Villa again when we return to Sorrento.

THE VIEW!!

The view from this Villa is breathtakingly beautiful!! The gardens are so manicured and well tended. Sunsets from terrace are the best. The Villa was clean and well stocked. No oven but we managed with gas stove top and microwave. Washer/dryer combo was great but takes a while to dry clothing. The location was perfect, as well, being a very short walk to Tasso square. The only down side was that the Checkin process was brief and not very informative but the host’s assistant responded quickly to our inquiries. Overall, would come back to rent this villa every year if I could. Loved Sorrento and Villa Donna Elisa❤️

Beautiful Apartment

We loved our stay at this apartment. It was in an ideal location close to the town, for ease of access to restaurants, shops, train station and the port. The apartment was set in a beautiful and tranquil garden so you didn’t feel like you were so close to the centre and the views from the balcony were amazing. The apartment itself was well equipped and spacious. We would love to go back and stay there again.

Beauty in Sorrento

Oh my . . the view is unbelievable! Coming home to this villa is a respite ! Sorrento is busy, noisy and hot in the sun. The villa offers cooling shade, quiet, stunning gardens and a breathtaking view of Vesuvius and Naples Bay. It is impeccably clean - decor is old world Italian - big bedrooms and bathrooms. We stayed here at the end of a jammed packed Italian trip - it was the perfect way to relax at the end! My only word of suggestion . . I wish I had seen a photo of the gate from the street side prior to our arrival. We only found our way with the help of a kindly cab driver. We should have had better arrival info from our VRBO host. There is a very locked and imposing gate on the street side - thankfully our cab driver knew how to ring the bell and thankfully someone let us in. Because I had never seen a photo of the gate, I didn’t recognize it when I saw it and wasn’t sure I was at the right place - And then had no idea how to access entry. I would suggest more specific arrival information. The villa is five stars and more. We loved it.

Beautiful Apartment

This was truly one of the most beautiful apartments we’ve stayed in. It’s in a great location, too, close to the city, but far enough away that it’s quiet. Bruno was very easy to work with, and we appreciate all his help. The apartment is huge, and the views are stunning. You will not be disappointed if you stay in this apartment.

Living as an Italian Countess

If you want to step back in time and feel like an Italian Countess pls do not hesitate to book this property! If you want gracious living, beautiful surroundings and charm, book this property! If you want views, gardens and details… book this property! Everything about this place is classy, including Bruno! However, if you are wild, loud and stupid please don’t book this property it’s not for you and frankly I hate to even think of you ruining the culture and peacefulness of the villa. The bedrooms are classy, and the closets look like out of Vogue magazine. The views are stunning and although the Villa is older it’s well maintained and clean!! I wish my house sparkled like this. One small note is aren’t a lot of cooking utensils but I’m sure if you ask Bruno for a few things he will provide. (Maybe a spatula for making eggs in the morning but who wants to cook when you’re surrounded by restaurants! Literally that is the only thing I can think of to mention but make scrambled eggs and you’ll have no trouble!) The Villa itself is steps from everything! Walk out the Villa gate and you’re ready for any adventure. It’s all there. Bruno arranged for transportation and tours and I wish all of my life was this easy. The tour/ transportation (Rosa and Luigi) company is 5 starts and they are accommodating and lovely people!! We were lost in Naples trying to return the rental car and with one phone call, several texts and our cluelessness they tracked us down and got us settled. What could have been a disaster was saved by their diligence. Tip well! They deserve it! Knowledgeable and a great resource for traveling the area. I understand sometimes Americans have been disrespectful and messy when touring in their vans or being transported…if that’s your style ( or lack thereof) find another company because these are real Italians, doing real jobs and giving it 100%. Please respect their culture and them. Our little travel group would return to Italy just to see them. So…book with confidence! The Villa is way beyond expectations and without a doubt a beautiful place to make memories. Thanks again Bruno and grazie for making our Italian visit to Sorrento one we will never forget. ❤️🇮🇹

Wonderful spot in Sorrento

Fantastic spot ! The Villa is near to everything , includes all your wants ! We had evening wine and cocktails in the Garden every night that includes a beautiful view of the harbor and sea . Great for 2 couples! The grounds are spectacular! Owner and Manager were so helpful! If you’re considering other units , spend the additional money and stay here. This is the premier Villa in Sorrento! Hands down !

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Urlaub in der Villa Donna Elisa. Die Lage ist herrlich, in unmittelbarer Nähe der Altstadt von Sorrento, umgeben von einem sehr schönen und gepflegten Garten. Es ist eine Oase an Ruhe in einer belebten Stadt. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet und mit zwei Bettzimmer und zwei Badezimmer ideal für 4 Personen. Von zwei der drei Terrassen und von dem Garten hat man einen beeindruckenden Blick auf den Vesuv und dem Meer. Bruno und Donna Elisa sind beide reizend. Das ist ein Ort an dem wir gerne zurück kommen...

Paradise

Had a wonderful 7 night stay here. As per the many previous reviews, this is such a tranquil spot directly overlookIng the Bay of Naples. The villa space is enormous, each room being far bigger than depicted in the photos. It is so nicely furnished. The many terraces are so well set out, furnished & shaded, with views to die for. Extremely comfortable sleeps. Very central for Sorrento but no noise whatsoever. Bruno and madam Elisa were extremely welcoming, but never intrusive. Anyone who needs strong WiFi needs to be aware it was a bit flaky, with no signal in the master bedroom, but It was generally fine in the living rooms and on the terraces. Wish we were still there!
