Greeting upon arrival was pleasant. Property is VERY dated but room was clean and sufficient for one night. Breakfast area was a mess from guests behaviour and staff not keeping area clean behind these slobs. Sugar all over counters, garbage on the floor, floors sticky underfoot, tables not wiped down after guests leave, supplies not restocked until requested. I would definitely not stay here a second time even for one night.

The Staff was super friendly, helpful, breakfast was good. The room had one problem, the shower wouldn't stop dripping. Overall, it was nice.

When I tried to check in there was no one available at the counter. Someone finally came to the desk and advised they needed my card for a $50 deposit for incidentals. There was also a visit from the police department on my floor on my visit which made me question if this was a safe environment. I still have not been credited for my $50 deposit. When I called, I was placed on hold and then disconnected.

Did not get the room we asked for; the gal checking us in, broken English, hard to understand; dog in the room across barked all the time, nothing done. Toilet seat was broke, I told the gal at the front desk she kept wanting to give me toilet paper. We went to funeral, got back our toilet seat fixed but our room was not cleaned. I went to front desk, the same gal, I asked why my room was not cleaned? She just looked at me, then she said did you ask? I said I did not know I had to ask, there was nothing to hang on door and if asking was a requirement u should of asked me if i wanted my room cleaned the 3 days we were there. I asked for towels, she brought me 1 towel..no wash clothes, hand towels, I had literally ask for them.Then I had to ask for coffee and cups. She wanted to know if I needed sheets for the bed too? I said are you kidding me if I wanted to pay these high prices I most definitely am NOT changing sheets. I also told her if I had to listen to that dog again all night we would be out of there the next morning. She looked at me and smiled. I told her I was not kidding. I had to call the front desk 2 times as I’m trying to sleep the dog was barking until 2 am. I told him we would be leaving in the morning; kept barking. Packed up the next morning, went to the front desk,she was there, took keys to room, left them and left. She called me 7 pm, asked if we checked out. I said I told u we were leaving I need peaceful place to sleep; she hung up. Never again!!

Barely adequate - we stayed for 4 days. The bed was comfortable but the pull out was atrocious. I thought I'd reserved a pack & play but it was on a first come 1st serve basis, so when I went to get it, they didn't have it - fortunately one became available by the time we needed it - the last night of our stay. We knew we got the room as a cheap deal, so we were prepared to put up with more than we should have. Shower was tepid for me, but it ran hot then cold for others in our group. Breakfast choices were not appealing - there was a Starbucks and a DD within walking distance. I will say the staff tried hard to accomodate - everyone was friendly - we asked for more towels and bedding and they were prompt.

I have stayed at this property numerous times and it has been a few years and I was shocked at only the rooms, the entrance was good but needed so pictures, flowers or something to give a warmer environment! Our room was old, the beds were horrible! The room was sorta clean, the lamps were ancient with no lightbulbs and very no overhead lighting! Rather depressing! The bathrooms were clean but dingy! There are many new hotels in the area and I fear this hotel will be left behind if it does not get a makeover! The doors to the room were hard to open as well. The hotel was booked out but comments were made how it had gone down ! I only share this in the interest as an agent that since it is across from Notre Dame and next to St. Mary's and the competition they may loose out! Again, the staff was wonderful!

Hotel stay was average. The hallways and entryways of the building are in need of a cleaning and paint job. There was a large group there during are stay that was noisy all night long, but not really the hotel's fault. The room itself was clean for the most part and breakfast was great, though the breakfast area itself wasn't kept up with. I would stay again but wouldn't give a 5 star recommendation by any means.
