Little Blue is a family friendly cottage with a fully equipped kitchen and dishwasher. The cottage has 2 bedrooms with 1 queen size bed in one and a full size bed in the other. 1pullout sofa queen bed in the living room offers additional sleeping space. The enclosed screen porch has a twin bed for napping or leisurely reading. The dining room accommodates 6 with additional dining space on the back deck.
Little Blue is the quintessential cottage for your family get away or a fun time with friends. The additional lot next door allows room for privacy and fun. Not to mention a drivable or walkable access to Lake Michigan. Our private beach is currently small, bring water shoes.
Make a fire in the fire pit, relax and enjoy the sound and sights of wild life, smell the lake and wild flowers.
A perfect get away. Just relax, with no internet or WI-FI.

Our stay was terrific. The cottage was very clean and set up extremely well. Very well decorated. Loved the front porch, very cozy. There is everything you could possibly need for everyday living in this cottage. The sunsets were out of this world. The people in the neighborhood were very friendly. Made a lot of dog friends. Perfect, even for a family of 5
We were only here a couple of nights, but the house was WELL stocked and that made our trip even better. Forgot butter? It’s there! Very nice. The house was very clean, we loved that there are fans everywhere, the porch was lovely. Camp fire was nice. Walk to the beach wasn’t bad, but even better when we realized we could drive down and park right by the beach! We would book here again for sure!

We loved Little Blue!
We had a great time at Little Blue! Very well stocked with beach supplies, cooking supplies, and everything we needed. We didn't expect how great the neighborhood private beach would be! This is a wonderful location and home to enjoy southwest Michigan.

Little Blue was great
The Little Blue cottage was a really nice for my family of 3. The house is very maintained and was very accessible upon check-in. The house is in a great location, right in the middle of South Haven and Sagatuck, which gives a lot of good options in the area. The beach was easy to access as well!

Great little getaway
The house is small but described accurately, and beautiful! The kitchen was well-stocked with basics (coffee, condiments, etc), as was the bathroom. Everything was clean and tidy, and it felt like a home away from home. We enjoyed the fire pit and hammock and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Check-in was relatively easy, although we checked in after dark so it was a little tough to find the lock box and figure out which keys to use on the dark. I think it would have been much easier in daylight. Appreciated the simple and easy check out instructions. We'd love to stay here again.

Nice space.
The home is obviously well cared for and the renters work to make it very welcoming and cozy. The only minimal improvement I'd offer is including clear information about where to access the lake in the welcome manual at the house. This info was not included in the email version of the details and once we got there we had no internet and basically no cell service (on verizon) so could not find this info. We eventually asked a dog-walking neighbor and it worked out fine, but I think this would be helpful.

Quiet & cozy spot near Lake Michigan
We had a great week at this quiet, cozy house in the woods near Lake Michigan. It’s a great place to unplug and spend time on the beach or in the shade. The house was clean and stocked with the essentials. No Wi-Fi and poor cell reception so no temptation to waste time on screens.

Great little beach cottage.
Everyone in the neighborhood is so friendly, always waving hello. We spent our evenings at the beach. Swimming and watching the sun set. Loved playing Trivia questions in the screened in porch. Super cozy, kitchen was stocked with anything we needed. Perfect distance to South Haven and Saugatuck!!! Thank you!!

Quiet and Relaxing
This cabin was the perfect size and in the perfect location for our needs. Just a few minutes from South Haven, we were able to enjoy both the peacefulness of the home’s location and the activities South Haven had to offer. We were surprised to see the ample supply of spices, condiments, coffee, and s’mores the house had to offer. We had a great stay, and I’d recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a quiet get-away.

Absolutely wonderful cottage!
This little cottage was exactly what we needed. It is about 10 minutes from downtown South Haven which was perfect for us. Located in a small neighborhood the cottage is in a wooded area with very little street traffic. Betsy and John have taken such care to make sure you are supplied with absolutely EVERYTHING you need! Games, books, movies, BBQ supplies, water toys, golf clubs even toiletries if you have forgotten something. Things you didn’t know you needed! What impressed me the most was the cleanliness. The place was spotless. I really appreciated that. Full kitchen , fire pit, grill, adorable decor, full living room. Only thing missing was wifi. You don’t need it but it would be helpful when looking up restaurants and activities. My favorite was the enclosed porch. You can sleep out there on the twin bed or play Scrabble every night like my daughter and I did. Open the windows and let the sounds of nature come in. Thank you Betsy and John for the opportunity to relax in your little slice of heaven

Charming Cottage
We had a wonderful peaceful stay at Little Blue which is exactly what we were looking for. The cottage is clean and comfortable and well equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay. We loved the bike rides around the local area and the private beach was perfect. The owner is friendly and responds quickly to any questions. We’d definitely stay there again when we return to MI.

Quaint little cabin… we went on a walk to the private beach our first night and saw 5 deer that came within 20 feet of us! Enjoyed relaxing watching movies in the evening and having chai on the front and back porch. Nice neighborhood and great place to come back to after a day at the beach or shopping in town!

We loved staying in this cottage for our annual "girl's trip". We are in our early 40's and loved all of the books, movies, games, etc. It was also nice to have the outdoor deck for night time games and conversation. Also had many extras and for the most part if you forget something it will be there which was nice. I also liked that it was peaceful and by itself yet you are in a neighborhood so you don't feel too isolated. Also the beach is just a short walk away and we really enjoyed the beauty and peace it provided. Would definitely recommend for a girl's retreat, a couples getaway, or a small family!
