“My party of 5 and I were very well satisfied with our overnight stay at the Doodlebug Cottage !! The 3 bedroom / 2 bath property was comfy and very tastefully appointed . The grounds were immaculate and the pool/ hot tub were the cherries on our overnight sundae!! Essentially , weve been "DOODLEBUGGED" and we couldnt be happier !! “Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing. By the time we arrived, the front desk was closed, so we had to check in using a lockbox. When we entered the room, it was obvious that it had not been properly cleaned. There was a dirty, used washcloth left in the bathroom, and one of the beds had not even been made. When I brought these issues to the attention of the front desk, it seemed as though this was not the first time something like this had happened. Even more disappointing, no……

“The Sleep by Numbers bed was broken, and the frame was so wobbly we couldn't use it. Effectively turning this into a one-bedroom. Additionally, we found used washcloths behind the bathroom door. The dishwasher was not secured to the countertop and pulled out when I tried to open the door to load it. I was unsure if it was operational, so I did not use it. There was also peeling paint from the ceiling and walls. This is a very nice area, but the property needs some maintenance.”
