“Beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. There's a view of the tower from the window. The giant soaking tub was a nice bonus. We stayed here for eleven nights. Half those nights there were large concerts in the Stradun (including on New Years Eve), but with the windows closed we slept through the noise. "We booked a room with balcony and stayed for 2-night. The room has a very comfy design and is maintained in good condition. Everyday they arrange room clean-up. The Scalini Palace is located in an excellent location, very close to the Main Street, taking us just a few steps to Stradun. It’s esp convenient if you want to take nice photos of old town in very early morning. No lift, same as many other hotels/apartments in the old town, so you have to walk upstairs to the floor you stay. Staffs are very nice. They allow us to drop luggages in reception before check-in time, and helped us moving the luggages upstairs to our room. Breakfast is quite nice, freshly prepared. Love the coffee they prepared! The balcony is a tiny one, but it has quite a nice view. "

"On the first night of my stay, the showerhead broke halfway through my shower, and the water temperature was hard to control. I ended up finishing the shower in a very awkward and uncomfortable way. Later, when I was about to go to sleep, I found that the air conditioner remote had no batteries, so I had to go the whole night without any air conditioning. When I told the hostess, she assumed I was the one who broke it. Upon checkout, she asked me for €20 for the city tax, even though I had already given it to her husband on the first day. Her response was, “Oh! Maybe I forgot!”"
