"Expedia told us this was located in Taylor, NE! I is not! It is in Burwell, NE sixteen miles East of Taylor. There is no ice unless you ask for a cup of it. No pool. It did provide the basics."

"We had an outstanding stay at Fishermanā€™s Retreat in Burwell. The house was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a fishing trip. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out after a long day on the water.The highlight for me was the drive-through garage. Being able to pull my truck and boat straight through without unhooking was a game changer. It made loading gear, charging batteries, and getting an early start each morning incredibly easy. Itā€™s one of the most fisherman-friendly features Iā€™ve seen at a VRBOIf youā€™re coming to fish Calamus, Sherman, or the surrounding lakes, this is an excellent place to stay. Weā€™ll definitely be back on our next trip to the Sandhills. Highly recommended!"
