“My husband and I visited for our anniversary. The cabin is lovely - beautifully renovated, thoughtfully outfitted, and situated in a lovely forested setting. The king-sized bed was the most comfortable bed that I have slept on away from home. The hot tub uses a saltwater system which is so much more pleasant than the usual chlorine/bromine systems found in most hot tubs...easier on the skin and respiratory system. We were very pleased with our experience and definitely plan to return to this...

“My husband and I enjoyed our 5 day stay over Memorial Day weekend. The house was gorgeous, and was very accomodating for my two dogs. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. The bathroom had plenty of toiletries in case we forgot anything. We walked our dogs everyday, and they loved exploring the surrounding woods. We had a great time and would stay again. ”

“It is wonderful. Quiet, private, we did not see anyone during our stay. The cabin is beautifully decorated and perfect for a couples escape. The back deck and hot tub was perfect for after a hike on the C&O canal. There was a full kitchen and outdoor grill but we found lots of local restaurants in Cumberland instead. The communication with the host was really fast. They did everything to make our stay perfect. We are looking forward to another trip back!! Communication with the host...

The house is laid out so perfectly for a big group with multiple gathering areas, the bedroom to bathroom ratio is key for adults traveling together and the Christmas decorations added a great homey touch.
