Align Inn Vermont

Align Inn Vermont

10/10 Excellent
"From check in to check out the stay was great. The room was impeccably clean. The staff was friendly. The property was well-‘maintained. The pool was open and clean. Morning breakfast was good. The location is in walking distance to the gorge and restaurants. I’d definitely be back for another stay."

The Jackson

8/10 Good
"If you are looking for a quiet B & B type experience, a little bit off the beaten path, then this could be a great option for you. Our room was on the second floor with a narrow wooden staircase which made it challenging to bring our multiple bags up to the room. We opted to pull a few necessities out of our main bag and just bring in a carry on, which worked fine. The rooms are lovely and comfortably furnished. The bed was comfortable. One of the "charms" of staying in a B&B type lodging is getting to meet your hosts. We went into town for dinner, so missed the complimentary wine and cheese offering. Other than that, all communication (check-in, questions and checkout) was entirely electronic and we did not see anyone throughout our one-night stay. That felt strange and impersonal to us, but perhaps our expectations were too high. I think we would have been happier in a more traditional hotel setting."

The Hartness House

"Beautiful grounds and common areas. Room was plain which was fine but a/c was inefficient and the bed was just ok. K-cups are not coffee in my book, and we had better pastry elsewhere. The location was great for us, the town is cute. Everything was closed on Sunday so we headed to Chester which is close and adorable too. All the towns shut down early so plan accordingly even restaurants and ice cream places. Vermont is gorgeous and friendly. If you get a chance, do go."

Best Western Springfield Hotel

Best Western Springfield Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"We liked our welcome when we arrived approximately 3:30 pm. The front desk person offered us an upgrade to have a jacuzzi, but we refused. We only wanted the room we booked with a couch. The room was very spacious and on the first floor, which is important to us, even though we didn’t request it. The front desk person gave us a list of area restaurants. When asked she told us about the Sumer House on the third page. We looked all the restaurants over and decided to take her recommendation. Our experience was excellent!"
