“During my recent stay at Rixos Dubrovnik, I booked the top-tier Spa Suite, expecting a genuine five-star experience. Unfortunately, nearly every interaction fell short: examples: - At checkout, I waited over 25 minutes for a bellboy despite multiple reminders until our butler stepped in and we nearly missed our flight - At breakfast, a manager passed a simple coffee request to a trainee, and only after multiple repeats did the butler fix it. - A pre-booked dinner request at their restaurant……

“The apartment was really wonderful. The communication with Tomas was excellent and his generosity as a host was great, I really appreciated the unexpected included snacks & food, drinks & toiletries. There is a handy kettle and toaster with some crockery and cutlery enabling you to eat breakfast in if you wish (there are nearby bakeries and grocery shops). The location could not be more convenient, As a light sleeper, I was a little worried it would be noisy but the shutters and double glazing……

“On the first night of my stay, the showerhead broke halfway through my shower, and the water temperature was hard to control. I ended up finishing the shower in a very awkward and uncomfortable way. Later, when I was about to go to sleep, I found that the air conditioner remote had no batteries, so I had to go the whole night without any air conditioning. When I told the hostess, she assumed I was the one who broke it. Upon checkout, she asked me for €20 for the city tax, even though I had……

“The apartment was amazing. High ceilings, lots of space, very clean and well equipped. The apartment is also bang in the centre of the old town which made it easy to get around. Hosts were very fast at responding as we had some issues with hot water but they replied to us quickly to help fix it. However there are few things to note if you're thinking of booking this apartment: The apartment is above a takeaway shop and lots of bars and restaurants so it is LOUD until about 11pm - midnight……
