Great family vacation

Comfortable and quaint place with a nice view of the lake. Cottage was comfortable, clean and has well stocked kitchen(dinnerware, pots, pans, etc..). Bedrooms are a fair size. There is a third smaller room that is currently setup as an office, so if travelling with 2 kids(like we were) we would have brought an air mattress in order for the kids to have separate rooms for them to sleep in. Great stay!

"Nice View, But Unpleasant Odors and Maintenance Issues"

The photos made the space appear larger than it actually is. Upon entering the room, we were immediately greeted by a strong, unpleasant fishy odor near the entrance. It was quite overpowering, although thankfully, it didn't permeate the entire house. We later discovered the smell was coming from the fridge compressor. Unfortunately, since it was the first and last thing we noticed when coming and going, it was hard to ignore, which led us to cut our stay short.Additionally, we didn't realize the property was a duplex with a shared wall, which wasn't ideal for our preferences. The outdoor space was limited, with a small deck that didn’t offer much for sitting and enjoying the view. Parking was also a challenge; we had to park on the side of the road, close to plants, which made it difficult to get my daughter in and out of the car without having to move it first. We also noticed some maintenance issues, like spider webs around the unit and a loose stair railing.Despite these negatives, the place did have a nice view, but overall, it just didn’t meet our expectations.

Lakefront chalet

I was impressed with the property. The view of the lake is amazing. The chalet had comfortable beds and every room was neat and tidy. We had access to kayaks and paddle boards. Great stay!
