Everything was perfect at the St. John Inn! Karen was lovely and a friendly host. The room and property was clean and welcoming, and we really appreciated the amenities they offered. The free breakfast and pool was a huge bonus! Also we loved seeing Bob and the other cats on the property. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit St. John.

Great location and wonderful staff! Karen and Dave were so helpful with restaurant recommendations, beach recommendations and Dave planned a full day road for us. The small pool was so nice to have after a hot walk back from town. Nice to have complimentary rum punch happy hour. Appreciated the free use of beach chairs, snorkel equipment, floaties ! Only thing that could be improved on was the breakfast. Would have loved some yogurt and fruit!

This hotel is like a bed & breakfast. It has 12 units scattered around the property in different buildings. The rooms are clean but dated. The breakfast could use some fruit and yogurt but there were many carb options. It was nice to be able to grab something quick. The building felt safe and private. The 5:00 free cocktail happy hour is a nice touch. The pool is clean and small and open 24 hrs. The property is set up to allow privacy if you prefer it. The staff is helpful and accommodating. Beach towels and supplies are provided and plentiful. If you forget sunscreen, bug spray, etc, they have it for you to use for free. I would recommend this property to others. This place is walkable to Cruz Bay.

Breakfast, although provided wasn't really much to write home about - bread, jam, butter, oats and apples. Really didn't mind this but I'd rather know that there is no breakfast at all. What we found really poor however was the fact that the room/bathroom were in such an unclean state

Power went out often on the island, a generator is needed at this property. Out flight was cancelled and we lost a day. I was told we would get credit for that but haven’t received confirmation of that yet. Location is okay, taxi service is a few blocks away, restaurants close. Not sure if I’d return or recommend at this time, still waiting on owner to honor his verbal agreement. But no matter what, a generator is desperately needed to protect a quality experience.

We loved our stay! The hotel is quaint, friendly hosts, close to everything in Cruz Bay. They have equipment available for a beach day (coolers, chairs, snorkels, etc.), free parking, lovely happy hour to enjoy and meet the other guests, and a refreshing pool to end your day. We would stay here again.

Mike and Mariah were amazing. Way above and beyond assisting with anything we could think of. The place was very cute and we loved the little swimming pool. It was walking distance to dolphin market, with a tasty chicken tender and mac and cheese counter next door (thanks Mike!) and also bars and restaurants.

A tropical storm/hurricane impacted our stay at a VRBO on the east side of St John. The house was getting closed up so we had to leave and find a hotel. St John's Inn had a room. The staff couldn't have been more helpful but couldn't help the power outage. Oh well, they did their best and we are grateful. Even though it's a 2- star hotel, I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again:)

My wife and I enjoyed the stay, our room, the staff and would be happy to stay there again. Parking is limited and accessibility is for able bodied people. We typically walked to restaurants. Our bed was comfortable, the AC unit kept the room comfortable. The breakfast was breads, cereals, coffee, milk, juice. The Inn does a pretty good job of taking care of the place, they just don't have the ability to take care of places in the neighborhood, which are a bit run-down. It is an island community, so it is a relaxed environment.
