"The cabin was clean. The host was excellent to work with. Even delivered a carbon monoxide detector to us as I was concerned about it not having one. Fireplace works with a flip of a switch. The views are great. Many beautiful hikes and water streams. You will hear Elk in the evenings. The kitchen needs some extra shelves for what the renter brings up ie boxes or cans of items. We were there 5 days and brought cereal and canned goods but had no space to put them. The upstairs is tricky. The rise on the steps is high so be aware it is not standard. I almost biffed it. The front sitting area is pleasant with the gas firepit. But you need to move the cushions in the evening under cover by the door to avoid condensation from dripping from the roof into them. Otherwise it was a wonderful place to stay."

"We had a wonderful stay and we all give this property five stars. The home was really beautiful, even better in person, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed with high-quality and comfortable furniture. There was plenty of space for us and for our things, and we especially appreciated the good-sized bedrooms and comfortable living areas. We didn't even find the washer/dryer until the last day, but for a longer outdoorsy trip in the area that would be essential.The kitchen was well equipped and worked really well for us, and the bathrooms were clean and functional. We also loved some of the thoughtful touches throughout the house, especially the books and games, and we really enjoyed using the outdoor fireplace. We saw elk regularly come by around dinnertime.Communication was excellent. The person we worked with was very easy to reach whenever we had a question or concern and was helpful throughout our stay.Our only minor issue was that the beds were too soft for our preference, which was agreed upon by everyone in our group. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend the property. We would definitely come back."
