Lady at check in rushed through the process and grabbed our credit card and inserted it to pay for the $45/day fee (no idea what it even covered and wasn’t explained when asked). The rooftop bar was open to the public and required a reservation that was not explained ahead of time and the guy at the Elevator was rude about it. Overall, Location is not ideal, it is almost a mile to the closest subway, and there are not many food options close by. The staff throughout the trip and at the end at checkout were really nice including the bag storage. We’ve been to NYC multiple times and decided to try something new and overall was disappointed by the “amenities” fee and inconvenient location. Overall experience was not horrible, but I would not recommend this hotel to somebody.

Unfortunately, there was not a bar per se only a cocktail bar which was very overpriced and as such there was nowhere else to have a drink in the hotel
