Friendly hotelPosted Aug 2, 2015
This is a very nice property, close to everything. The rooms could use a bit of an update, but the pool is outstanding. The front desk staff, Ophelia and Sharama went out of their way to do everything to make a pleasant stay. Would I stay here again, yes!!

Nice island like hotel, beautiful groundsPosted Jul 11, 2015
Extremely helpful staff, Restaurant recommendations were excellent. Taxis were ordered for the requested time. I'm very happy to have stayed at Sugar Bay, and I will go back.

Nice place no beachPosted May 23, 2015
Sugar bay was a great value it is a smaller place which I prefer. It is also older yet clean and comfortable the pools were lovely however if your looking to go to the beach you do need to take a short walk to the Marriott. A great little place in the front that offered breakfast and also lunch at reasonable prices. Also a small convience store outside the lobby! Had a great time at sugar bay and would definitely go back!

Sugar Bay overnightPosted Mar 29, 2015 on Hotels
Traveling over from Nevis, we were looking for a place to stay for one night due to an early departure the next morning. The pictures on the website made it look like a good place to stay. It was not what we were expecting. The building that our room was in reminded us of an old two story motel right on the highway. We couldn't open the sliding door onto the little patio, The security lock on the door was ripped off. We had towels but no washcloths. We heard traffic noise the whole night. However, the staff, which we only encountered for a very brief time, was very friendly.

PassablePosted Mar 8, 2015 on Hotels
We have stayed last year in a cottage and thought I had requested the same this year. If you can get one of those. This time we were in a regular room although clean and a good location. It was not glamour but its sufficent. You can walk to the beach, eateries, casino

El Hotel más conveniente en la isla. ¡Perfecto!Posted Mar 3, 2015 on Hotels

The hotel has been neglected for some time. Appears to mainly used by medical students on long term basis. Rooms were adequate, but not resupplied with coffee or shampoo daily. Had oceanfront room, but was so windy one could not leave the door open or sit out on the balcony. Parking was not convenient, and the grounds were not kept up.

Nice hotelPosted Feb 5, 2015
Pros: The pool.
We had a garden pool side room. It was very nice with a full kitchen. The two poods was really nice. They were very quiet and relaxing. There was a beach but it was small and not very nice. The hotel was a good value for the money.
