Taking the pandemic into consideration and not being able to leave the property, I think The resort could have done better to provide a better experience onsite. There were NO activities at all. We learned that a lot of employees were laid CB a off due to COVID. After the elevator in the main building went out of order, we were upgraded to an oceanfront suite which was the highlight of the trip. Other than that, there weren’t many other guests The restaurants were good but very expensive. I learned that the resort offers an all exclusive option, but this was not offered through my booking with Expedia. The resort is on the Atlantic side of the ocean and there was a lot of seaweed in the water. Every morning We woke up to bulldozers removing as much of it as possible. There really wasn’t much to do and I was looking forward to at least enjoying the casino.No. That was off limits too. I understand the importance of staying safe in these uncertain times. With that said. Expedia should have been more transparent about not having access to any of the amenities listed in the description, thus offering a discount of some kind. This trip was definitely not worth the money.
