Rented a suite last week. Pulled up to valet, who was very pleasant, but was told that only wedding guests were allowed valet parking. He politely, and embarrassed to tell me how to make 7 one way turns to get to a parking lot across the street from the hotel. Once you walk out, you cannot get back into the lot on foot unless you walk 3 blocks around. Registration is a single non-descript desk in the lobby, looking like a concierge. Morning room service came 30 minutes early, with the server shouting loudly enough for 3 rooms in the area opening their doors as well. Food was in foil lined paper containers with plastic cups and utensils. Came in plastic bags, no cart to eat from. Ate with the paper containers in our laps. Forgot the coffee. I understand that these are trying times during covid, however, I have been travelling throughout the pandemic and have not seen inconvenience even close to this level. If I were Marriott management, I would shut it down until they can get the hotel up to adequate standards.

RUN.. the worst I have ever stayed in any cities.. I think a motel has better service.. stayed for 3 nights.. they couldn’t even clean up the trash I left at the door.. it’s a joke!! I had to stay for all 3 nights due to no refund status..Never again

We booked a double queen room for a family stay-cation in St. Louis. Parking was frustrating as there is no dedicated hotel garage. The room was beautiful and clean. The rooftop pool, while fairly small, was a hit for my kids. They had a great time swimming and the pool area was very clean and well stocked with towels. Pool hours were till 10 PM, so we were able to enjoy the pool for a long time. Our main disappointment came from our dining experience at the downstairs restaurant. Our server was very nice, but it took an incredibly long time to get our food and our adult beverages didn't come out until after our food finally did. The server kept checking on the drinks and food, but it took SO long. We ordered an appetizer of chicken wings to hold us over and they were not fully cooked. They were bright pink and one had quite a bit of blood in it. The first one we bit into was incredibly slimy. Our meals finally came out and left much to be desired. We ordered the ribeye and filet, both were not cooked as ordered and were Applebee's quality, at best. Dry, flavorless, and could probably get a better steak at a Hometown Buffet. There was a sad single, unflavored, halved carrot on the plate, too. Our bill was $212 for the meal and I really feel like it wasn't worth more than $20 for the quality. Highly disappointed and definitely would recommend DoorDashing or leaving the property for meals. We decided to skip on room service and breakfast after the terrible dinner.
