Idea of a boutique hotel and reviews online sounded great. However once I got on-site reality kicked in. The area in front of hotel looks dingy and unsafe . The entrance hallway and elevator’s had a foul smell . Front desk was nice and friendly . The room I got was the blue room and I have never been so uncomfortable in a hotel - ever. The room had no air circulation and felt like being closed in. The room was extremely dusty - everything was dusty , carpet , bed sheets and covers , curtains, desk tops , lamps I could barely breathe . I was wearing black and my clothes within moments of being in the room had little white things on it I requested to change rooms and was advised sold out. They sent housekeeping to come clean again . I left the room and hanged upstairs lobby, I-could not breathe in the room. I later went out to eat and stayed out as late as possible, I truly did not want to be back in the room. It almost felt like I’m breathing fumes that are dangerous to my body , I changed my flight to a red eye 5am flight so I can get out of there as quickly as possible. It m not sure how the hotel has any good ratings . It is dirty, dusty , no fresh air , aC is loud , whole building needs new ventilation and walls knocked down. This is a terrible hotel , there is potential and the arts idea sounds great but that’s about it .
