We stayed at this hotel so that we could be close to the arch on our trip. The hotel itself was ok. I did not like that it was not advertised that the parking was so much. They claimed the self parking lot was full so I had to be pay $50 for valet parking. But then I still had to go to the basement to get my vehicle and bring it back up myself to meet my party members to load our luggage our self. The double bed room itself was pretty tight for 4 people. Unless you eat the hotel there really isn’t any food around. We also asked the front desk for an extra blanket which they said they would bring to our room but they never did. I probably would not stay here again.

One of the worst Hyatt properties I have ever stayed at—the bathtub was sloppily painted over and was peeling so badly that it was hard to take a bath without paint flakes clouding the water. The carpet in the hall is stained and dirty. There is graffiti all over adjacent buildings, so that no matter where you look you’re greeted with it. I will not be staying at this Hyatt or any Hyatt in the future, and will encourage the same for others.

The hotel and staff were great! With everyone checking out around the same time, it took a while to get the vehicle from valet. BUT, the valet team was very efficient and organized to keep the flow moving. Special shout out to a female valet out front who was literally running around and directing traffic to keep cars moving from the garage and in the street. It was a Cubs/Cards weekend, with tons of people, and went very smoothly.
