Star Fort Tours

Star Fort had an important defensive role during its time. Now a historic site, you can only imagine some of the scenes its fortified walls have witnessed.

This Matara history-filled fortress is a good spot to start your day of sightseeing. There's loads to see and do in the vicinity, such as Polhena Beach, Madiha Beach, and Dondra Lighthouse. Take your time at Star Fort before heading to these other fine attractions.
