"We enjoyed our stay at this house.We will probably stay again in the future.The kitchen was great and having a 2nd bathroom was super.The house was very clean & the wifi worked great.The listing said that there were double beds in the rooms, but aside from one queen bed, they were all twins.The carport is great to have - note it fits one car, not two.The TV is frustrating as it is not cable, but rather only some free channels (I guess it's assumed that you have your own streaming service). "

"Parking was fine in front of the building. The food met our needs. But when we booked Expedia showed that allowed cats and dogs and this Windgate is Steubenville OH did take cats in Dec 2025 when we stayed there. but I called the day prior to our reservation, and they said they did not take cats since things have changed. They only take dogs now. It was to late to book with someone else so we had to scramble to find someone to take our cat. after going back and forth with Wingate they called the third party and Expedia change their information to only dogs. no good "

"After being on the road and hotels, it was nice staying here! We felt at home right away. Everything was exceptional, I loved the decor too, this house has the feel of a victorian home. Host was very responsive and allow us to get in early because we were tired. The mattress could be a bit firm it was too soft for my back, the bedding was hotel style and professional looking, everything else was good, unlike hotels, I liked the different shampoos brands in the shower. I will surely stay here again, book it! Highly recommend it. "
