Our stay at the Whitlock was great. I highly recommend this place for others wanted to stay in a historic inn. The Whitlock is an old inn. It was built in 1771. It has been renovated and kept up very well. The staff was very friendly and nice.

My husband and I enjoyed our two-night stay at The Whitlock. This historical inn was well located in town and very walkable. The bed was comfortable, bathroom updated, quiet and when we did encounter staff, Logan and Mary Ann, they were incredibly pleasant and helpful. Thank you for your hospitality.

The Inn was quaint and conveniently situated in downtown Lenox near shops and restaurants and a short drive to Tanglewood. The virtual check-in worked seamlessly, and a friendly, helpful staff member greeted us at the front desk. Our King Room was clean, comfortable and attractive - perfect for our overnight getaway.

I found The Whitlock very charming. It was an old Inn, just what I expected for that area. The room was clean, the bed and bathroom were nice, and the staff was nice and helpful. Lenox is small but the location of The Whitlock was exceptional. I saw a few poor reviews that I think were unfair given my experience (or maybe they've improved since those reviews). Sure some things could be updated, it's not a brand new, ultra modern hotel but there was nothing that made my stay anything but pleasant or that I thought twice about. I really enjoyed my time there. Thanks to the staff!

This dingy, tired Inn is disgusting. As frequent world travelers who looked forward to visiting the area ,we were enticed to stay here by looking at some obviously enhanced photos…. Stains on the carpets, scrapes and peeling paint on doors , cobwebs in the windows , no amenities at all. The supposed “ Tavern” was dark, empty, and uninviting, looking like a set in a Hitchcock film! Thank goodness we only had to stay one night and left early in the morning for better lodgings!…. I did take photos, if anyone is interested.

This is a very quaint hotel in a fantastic location. It is easy to walk to everything in Lenox and even Tanglewood from the hotel. Just be aware it is an uphill walk back from Tanglewood. The room was very spacious and bed very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again. If looking for any opportunities to improve, only thing I can come up with is a small frig in the room. Great place!
