On arrival it became clear that the apartment we stayed in wasn’t the one in the photos that I thought I had booked. The ad is a mix of different apartments with only a couple of them the one we were allocated which wasn’t to the standard I was expecting which was a shame as we’re celebrating an 18th birthday The 2 bathrooms transpired to be a communal area with 3 showers and 2 of the tiniest toilets ever Apartment was cold and we ended up lighting the gas burners and oven to get the room warm There were endless corridors to navigate which didn’t help with the heat issue The area was very rough with litter everywhere outside On a positive the towels and sheets were spotless with early check in and Kate check out

Great location, affordable apartment for a large group. Metro link directly outside the door to connect you to Newcastle. Apartment in great condition and would recommend this place. Check in was difficult as you need to communicate with host over phone to retrieve the code to access the key but apart from that it was great. Security deposit usually scares me from booking with places as i have been scammed before but rest assured there is no scamming here, with the host very kind when spoke on the phone.

A lovely stay. Staff were friendly and receptionist was very helpful and polite. Nice upgrade during our stay made it even more enjoyable. Room was abit dated with a few niggles that need to be updated but that did not affect our stay. Breakfast was buffet but we only realised on our last day that we could request how we wanted our eggs. Would be useful for staff to advise when seating. I would recommend staying here but note it is in a student area and bar is used by students however this was fine for us but may not be for those who prefer a quiet early night.

We booked a junior suite for a 2 night stay in Newcastle in April. My wife found this hotel online as we wanted to stay in town for a change. We arrived by car - option of valet parking (£40) or park at the lot behind the hotel - hotel as an air of Ralph Lauren interiors about it and the room was very clean. Some issues; the window light left watching TV impossible and the bath wasn't able to produce hot water. Oddly the sink and shower were fine. The bar area was dimly lit (not dark) and beautifully furnished. I ordered what turned out to be the best White Russian I have had in a long time. The restaurant was equally luxurious. I ordered the duck salad, which became my instant favorite, and we both ordered steak, fries and sauce with rocket salad. Still think about it today. Everyone we met, from housekeeping to front of house, was great and we look forward to a future stay.
