“The location is good, walking distance to most of the sightseeing place. The room is clean and staffs are freindly. ”

“The Thon Hotel Cecil was in a great location to tour Oslo. My room was nicely appointed … only the mini fridge cooler did not seem to work. But they have ice machines at each end of the second floor. I appreciated that they cut out the wire around my window during construction so I could see out. The breakfast buffet each morning was a delight with lots of options … including vegan. The evening meal of soup and salad was a delightful surprise to be included … I highly recommend the delicious……

“Overall everything is nice. Nice and spacious rooms, friendly staff and nice breakfasts! My only complaint is the noise from the street downstairs. Will be good to have some sort of sound blocking measures.”

“Fikk en flott mottakelse når vi ankom hotellet. Vedkommende oppgraderte oss til toppetasjen. Sengen var fantastisk.Frokosten var fin om enn litt travel, dette var ved 9 tiden så vi kan vel takke oss selv. Utsjekk gikk smooth. Noe trafikk støy må påregnes i løpet av natten men det er prisen for å bo sentralt.”

“I booked 5 rooms for my family and friends, 2 rooms locate at old building and have no AC. There's always only 1 staff working in reception and tried to satisfied everyone's needs, everyone has to learn how to be a patient customer no matter you want to check-in, get some information, ask for help or even complain, you need to wait at least 10 minutes in summer high season.”

“Amazing in every way. Only negative isn’t their fault, and that’s people smoking outside below the building. 5/5 and I’ll stay at Bob W locations wherever they are if I am in that city. Cheers Bob!”
