It was fun to watch the evening swims from the nearby beaver dam, and listen to the daily arguments among the geese and cormorants. Off-site amenities were few during the off-season, which was not unexpected, but good to keep in mind when planning your visit."

This is a central location, so we were able to easily drive to local attractions - even Presque Isle.Pots and pans are available; bring your own storage containers/sandwich bags/foil.Be sure to visit the fresh eggs and vegetable stand on the left as you head into Mayville! :)"
