“For value for money, this place takes some beating! The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, with a very generous courtesy tray. We ate in the popular restaurant and were very impressed with the menu and the quality (and quantity!) of the food. Staff serving couldn’t have been more attentive. Great maturity shown by a fairly young staff! Breakfast was great- a cold selection of cereals, fruit and yoghurt followed by your choice of hot food (not a huge menu- but plenty to choose from……

“Good value for money. A room on 1st floor of a small terraced block of houses. Advert should be clearer that it is a shared bathroom (with one other room) and no sink in the room. A toaster, microwave, and kitchenware are provided but have to do your washing up in the bathroom sink and no teatowel provided. Comfortable bed and HUGE TV. Not as clean as could be e.g. food stains on and around the bin, toaster was quite grimy + corners of the room and staircase had visible dust. Prompt contact……

“Had a two night stay in Room 1. Staff all friendly and helpful. WiFi was on the blink.so not available on our room. They said they needed to fix it. Room was spacious. Lovely bathroom but lighting in both room and bathroom could be brighter. Water hot but found controls on shower difficult to adjust. Tea making facilities all good but I brought my own herbal tea - only standard tea available. Small bottle of still and sparkling water provided.”
