Looking at the surrounding properties, it is kept in the best condition.. they try to keep the beach, clean and all the facilities clean. Surrounding areas on the beach, suffer from the same problems of too much garbage, but this place is a good microcosm on the island. Thanks for a great stay. "

The resort was very friendly and comfortable. Swings and hammocks were everywhere. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Only downside was the WiFi wasn’t the strongest. Would definitely return. "

One of the few places on the island with strong WiFi. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the accommodation was a nice wooden open air cabin with many single beds with mosquito nets. Plenty of showers and clean toilets. 5-Star hostel. "

"Our villa was wonderful, large spacious room. The staff came twice to our villa to carry out housekeeping. The Royal Sands Koh Rong certainly has an eye for detail and think of everything a traveller needs. We are very glad we stayed here. Special mention to Kean and Sela who were amazingly welcoming and assisted with all our various queries. Sela booked us a car to pick us up from Sihanoukville pier to our hotel. The Royal Sands made our stay on Koh Rong perfect!"

"This island is very peaceful with a soft sand beach and shallow water where right off the hotel property you can just walk out and swim. Breakfast is good. The staff is helpful. We stayed in one of the tree house type bungalows and enjoyed our stay. It has more of a glamping than luxury hotel feel but seemed appropriate for the island and beach. There are various restaurants within walking distance down the beach. "

"We stayed at Eden for 3 nights & it was beautiful. The staff are all super friendly & helpful. The food was lovely. Breakfast was a little limited on choice & coffee not great but everything else was great. As some one else mentioned the price advertised does not include tax so you pay more when the bill comes. But it is a small Island & understandable food & drink is going to be more expensive . I hope the Island remains it charm for many more years to come. "

"One of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed. The beach front bungalows are absolutely spectacular! The beach and sea is stunning, so peaceful. There’s plenty of sunbeds, so no need to rush out early to nab one. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. The breakfast in the restaurant was pretty tasty, my only slight issue was the fruit juice wasn’t fresh, it was straight out of a carton, which I found unusual for anywhere in Cambodia, especially such a high end property. Overall, a truly wonderful stay, I just wish I’d stayed longer."

"Rooms weren’t very clean, bathroom is a wet room that doesn’t dry out - so constantly have wet feet. Bathroom had not been cleaned for our arrival. I’d say even for budget backpacking this place was poor and I wouldn’t recommend it. The area is very local, quite loud and pretty dirty. I think staying at longset beach would be much nicer. "

Offcourse you can also sleep there in one of the beach front bungalows. ![I like exploring #abandoned buildings, but was a little surprised to find that the #lighthouse on Koh Rong Sanloem, #Cambodia 🇰🇭 isn’t really abandoned. The only resident is one old soldier, charging people a dollar to climb the tower. The view is worth a dollar, though.
