“A charming hotel, with stunning views, beautifully positioned overlooking the bay and conveniently to town, all its amenities and local transport. Staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable and it was a perfect location to explore the Jurassic Coast and it's historical gems. Will definitely go back.”
“The Haven is situated in an enviable position however the overall impression of the hotel comes across as quite tired and a little dated. The shower was very poor with a weak stream going from hot to cold. We were woken in the morning at 6.30 to the very noisy laundry lorry collecting and dropping off. To add to this our sleep had already been interrupted due to the fire alarm going off at midnight, no fire but unexplained. Staff were polite and dealt with a housekeeping issue efficiently. ……
“You will hear the sound of wood platform while other guess walking around. This ok to me as I live in a lousy place. It would be a problem for those request absolute quiet.”
