You get what you pay for

Posted Aug 31, 2015
Pros: The front desk was very helpful and nice.
Cons: Better lighting for the back parking and an entrance so you don't have to walk to the side or front. The rooms could be cleaner.
Location: It was close to the highway.
The night person working the counter was very pleasant and willing to accommodate. However, the parking was horrible. There is no place to park while you check in and nowhere to unload/load your luggage. There was very little front parking. The only parking was around back (no lights or backdoor to the hotel). There was broken glass in back parking lot that obviously came from broken car windows (possible break in). There were some shady men walking around back lot. I told front desk and she did offer to give me her front parking spot. The room was decent. The bathroom had mold in shower/tub. There was no hair dryer. The microwave was really dirty. The beds and carpet were clean. There was a lot of freeway noise (our room faced the freeway).

Not as advertised

Posted Aug 22, 2015
Pros: The room was clean.
Cons: Monitoring of people's actions in the hotel. Customer service provided to fix problems. Get rid of the smoke smell.
Location: The hotel is about 15 minutes away from St. Joseph's Hospital. The Tacoma Waterfront is not far away. This hotel sits in the area heading to Fife.
We booked a king size bed, but upon arrival at the hotel found out that no such room exists. We were given a room with a full size bed. No effort was made to compensate or make things right. Yes, we did receive a non-smoking room, but the second you opened the door the smoke smell hits you and stays with you as you walk the halls. Finally, as two women traveling together we did not feel safe in the hallway or elevators. We had booked the hotel to be close to the hospital for a surgery. I'm wishing now that I had just left home early instead of not sleeping well given the above situations.

Good hotel, but room was not cleaned.

The bed was no made..when pulling the blanket, there was a pair of jeans underneath from the previous occupants. Had to call service for clean sheets and I made the beds. The bathroom was not clean, especially the shower. Nice hotel, but our room was not ready for new occupants.

It was cheap, but there was hair in the bath tub, hair in the sink, and the sheets had discoloration. The whole place smells bad.

Not to far from Seattle

Posted Aug 10, 2015
Pros: Our room had a kitchen with supplies
Cons: Maintenance. TV was not working properly (even after maintenance). Showercurtain broken. Better isolation from outside noise is a must.
Location: Wild Waves park was close by.
Hotel is OK but very close to the interstate. If you have a room on that side it is very noise.

Hotel near Port of Tacoma

Posted Jul 28, 2015
There seemed to be lots of workmen staying at the hotel which seemed natural for the area. When we first got there two people were helping one person and I was waiting for almost 6 minutes before they even said anything to me. When another person finally came to the desk she assisted me but went around the corner to use a computer over there and then shouted at me from that computer, even shouting my personal information for everyone to hear. The elevator is very small and each entry way for it is crowded and made for a lot of almost bump ins as people were trying to rush in and out. The lobby smells very badly of cigarettes. Thirty minutes after entering our room a housekeeper barged entry, luckily our deadbolt thing was over the lock or he would of seen my friend and I in different states of undress while getting out of traveling clothes. Why was he trying to clean a room that was already supposed to be clean for us to check into?

Not the best

Both of the rooms I reserved we're very dirty. They had socks under the bed and empty bag of chips. There was never room service in our 3 day stay. We had to take our own trash out.
