“Jim's spot was the perfect place to call home while exploring Talkeetna. Not too far from the town but also so secluded and quiet. Everything was as described - we even were welcomed by homemade brownies. Jim and his pup were super friendly and kind. Falling asleep surrounded by woods is a peace like none other.”

“The cabin is quaint and clean. It was great to walk in to a warm little living room with a fire in the stove. We enjoyed the quiet woods and a spruce chicken greeted us the morning. It was worth the drive down the long driveway for a very peaceful stay.”

“It was a great cabin in the woods. Comfortable and cozy. Nothing fancy but everything you need. Very close to Talkeetna but it felt miles and miles away- in a good way. It was so peaceful and quiet. Did not really communicate with the hosts simply because it was not needed. Only MINOR issue was that we ran out of firewood on the first night and could not find more. We would definitely stay here again if we return to this area.”

“The Marlin House is just as described online. The king bed was very comfy (and I'm a bit of a bed snob) and the house was perfect for our one night stay. It's not fancy, but it's clean and comfortable. Just what I was looking for!”
