"3 night stay taking in Taputapuatea Marae, Botanic Gardens and an around the island road trip. Good location with lagoon access and a kayak to borrow.Rooms were well appointed and bathrooms were pleasant. Good option for those who want to self cater as a proper kitchen.Property is not particularly private, and whilst there were fans and some windows and doors with mosquito netting there is no air con so it can be hot at night if you are from a cold climate like we were! "the bungalow is nice (other than almost burning down due to poor maintenance of the propane stove. the owners did replace the stove but Norma was fairly badly injured and it could have been much much worse.) but it is too close to the highway, there is no privacy at all (immediatley adjacent to reception), and the dogs go from endearing to extremelhy irritating fairly quickly. the bungalows that are further back may be better but we did eight nights in Coco and were very glad to leave."

"This is a great place to stay on Raiatea with its own little beach. We liked the open concept and the property management is very accommodating. The beach isn’t the best for swimming due to lots of coral but we did enjoy kayaking to the nearby Motu where more swimming possibilities exist. The nearby restaurant that you can walk to, Fish & Blue, is a real treat. "

"Our room (cottage) was perched 180 ft above the beach. It was perfectly outfitted with porch, kitchen, bedroom w king size bed. The bathroom was amazing with separate shower and toilet rooms. Both were overlooking the ocean and beach and entire grounds. The entire building was done in local, highly polished, hardwood. The downside is if you don’t have a car rental the taxi fare is 70,000 xfp so stay a few days."
