“For a roadside motel in a rural area, it was a pretty decent place to stay for a single night. The room was quite basic, but seemed to have been recently updated. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was a bit cramped but was fairly modern and clean. The area was quiet and peaceful, and the woman at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful. There didn’t appear to be any vending machines around, so make sure you bring bottled water if you don’t like it out of the tap. The main commercial……

“I was in shock when I drove up the hotel's driveway! The whole hotel was in disarray, under construction. The hotel was in desperate need of repairs. The person at the main desk helped us find a new room at another hotel since Expedia thought we would take the room. Are you kidding with 2 children and no pool?! Nice try. Good thing it wasn't peak season with no hotel room in close vicinity and two kids. People work hard to have some quality time away on vacation with their loved ones. It is……

“After a long drive, I was looking forward to a rest, but that was impossible. The room was dirty, and the bed was extremely uncomfortable—the mattress felt like it belonged in the last century. While the bathroom looked recently renovated, it didn't make up for the overall poor quality, especially with a broken mirror in it. To make matters worse, the heater didn't work and just blew cold air, leaving me freezing all night. The "blanket" provided was barely thicker than a bedsheet. Even tried……

“I know this isn't a five star property, but the office staff could make some effort. I am tired of staff who treat guests like they're an inconvenience. This could explain why the parking lot was half empty during my week's stay. On the other hand, the housekeeping staff were delightful and very engaging. They made me feel welcome and valued. Also, this may be the first motel in a resort town that didn't have an ice machine. On the positive side, the motel is located on the north end of the main……
