Our room was not ready. An email had been sent the week before from Expedia to say we needed the extra bed for my daughter. The hotel reception denied all knowledge of this. however, a single bed was brought to our room dumped in the middle of the room in front of the TV. We were then left to rearrange the Furniture put the bed in a more appropriate place move the chair the footstool the coffee table, the The writing desk and chair into the corner of the room. Stock piled up so that my daughter could go to bed. But as she got into bed she was horrified to see there were blood stains on her duvet.I immediately contacted reception and they came up and gave us a new duvet. By then it was 2am and we were so tired we decided to deal with the situation in the morning with the Manager. In the morning we spoke to reception. They said that the front desk manager wasn’t available as it was a Sunday and we would have to wait until Monday when he was on shift. On Monday morning we spoke to the front desk manager who was very apologetic and said he would upgrade us. options of two rooms for which I thought was by way of apology for our inconvenience last night. A member of staff showed us two rooms and we agreed on a mini suite we went back to reception and said we would accept the room but then the manager wrote down it will be an extra £55per night. He was actually trying to make up for the disgraceful service he was trying to take more money from us
