Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Food was good but no clean water

First and foremost, this property is managed by the Hilton. There is NO physical entrance to the Plaza Hotel. You must check-in at the Hilton's front desk to access Plaza Hotel tower. The rooms are spacious and clean, but the NO sofa bed in the living room, only two full size beds in the bedroom. The breakfast is delicious! Made-to-omelets and pupusas, yes PUPUSAS! But, be careful. Breakfast is served 7am to 11am and the full cost is $24/person. If you prepay when checking in, breakfast is $20. However, if you decide to go to breakfast AFTER 9am, the cost is $12. If would be nice if they provided this information when checking in. Nevertheless, the food if delicious and I highly recommend. Keep in mind this is a business oriented hotel, so there are lots of conferences and events. TIP: change the photo you have for the Plaza Hotel. That patio does not exist.

My daughter and I had the most amazing stay at Coco Surf Tropical Village. The location in La Libertad is exceptional—right on the beach, with stunning views and easy access to the ocean. The units are spacious, modern, and impeccably clean, and the entire property is beautifully maintained. The small community atmosphere makes it feel both cozy and welcoming. What truly made our trip unforgettable was the incredible hospitality. Aura, the property manager, went above and beyond in every interaction. She checked in on us regularly, recommended fantastic restaurants, helped with translations, and even assisted with delivery orders. Her genuine care and attention made us feel completely safe, comfortable, and well looked after throughout our stay. Aura also connected us with an outstanding driver, Socrates, who made exploring the area effortless. He was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly kind, with excellent communication—always responsive, informative, and punctual. He took us to Café Albania, helped with local errands, provided translations, gave us a wonderful tour of San Salvador, and guided us to some of the best dining spots in the area. Aura and Socrates are truly two of the kindest people we have ever met, and they will always hold a special place in our hearts. I highly recommend staying here—come for the beautiful beachfront setting, and leave with unforgettable memories and connections.
