I only stayed one night and wished I was staying a couple at least. Checking in was a breeze, and the guesthouse is immaculate. I loved the detail in decor and they had a great sitting room. Breakfast was great with ducks in the yard for entertainment (we were inside!). I will stay there again if I return to do hiking in the local area. The owners were very nice and friendly.

I am rooting for these guys! It’s a beautiful place and we loved staying in Oban away from the tacky ocean front area spots. We loved the views and the grounds and the library with the assortment of whiskeys. Here is a photo of some highlights! The library and the peacock and the views. Looks like a castle.

Wonderful hosts, very accommodating. Lovely spot with a view of the Isle of Mull across the bay. Had one of the best pasta meals in my life. Well worth the drive.

My wife and I found ourselves in Edinburgh, Scitland on vacation last October and decided to venture out if the city and see a bit if the Scottlish Highlands. When I booked this hotel I had high hopes for a wonderful and romantic getaway, but I was overwhelmed at how spectacular the hotel, room and setting was.
We had dinner and breakfast in our own private dining room, served to us by a caring staff that literally waited on us hand and foot. The food was amazing and the staff engaging and very...

Room was nicely decorated, property felt inviting and cozy. To-go items in mini fridge for breakfast was an unexpected surprise. Great location for getting anywhere in Oban.

A delightful bed and breakfast with attentive staff, several unexpected amenities and a delicious hot breakfast. We were greeted at check-in by Hanna who showed us our room, was curious about our journey and explained the features of the house. In the room, there were bath robes and slippers. Breakfast the next morning had all the Scottish favorites as well as a full complement of breads and cereals. I highly recommend Guisachen Guest House.

Hands down our best room in Scotland! The room & bathroom were spacious, immaculate, and warmly decorated. Everything you might possibly need was provided - a plethora of complimentary snacks & beverages, wonderful local soaps & lotions, a hair dryer (lacking in 2 of our previous rooms). Small little kindnesses like a tiny flashlight attached to the room key & umbrellas provided in the room , lots of hanging & hook space. It was just a lovely lovely room with numerous extras that set it...

A really lovely place to stay in Inveraray. Very good pub and restaurant. The house whisky was so good I took home 2 bottles. There are a variety of different rooms, some in the main building others in adjacent buildings and some with spectacular views across the loch. The standalone tub was a nice amenity, which I did not have the time to enjoy.
