Look 👏🏾 at 👏🏾 this 👏🏾 view. About 2 hours into the jungle and this is where you end up. #adventure
The bluest most out of this world waterfalls that I have ever seen in my life. It was a glorious sight.

A footbridge along the hike to the confluence of the Río Celeste.

Here's how the blue happens:

The waters of the Buenavista River contain a high concentration of aluminosilicate particles, when those particles encounter the Low pH of the Sour Creek, the particles enlarge and reflect this brilliant blue color that carries down the Río Celeste.

Beautiful waterfall and good for swimming. Entrance fee was higher than expected. We paid $40 for 3 adults 2 kids. There is a lifeguard on duty.

500 (well 480) steps to the falls so the coming back up is going to make you sweat

A lovely way to spend the day. Busy trail, Ticos and visitors from all over. Waterfall steps are steep and trail can have various degrees of muddy.
