"The property had a lot of character and was very clean and included a full kitchen. At the time we stayed, the restaurant in the hotel was being redone, so the hotel provided the makings of the advertised breakfast in a refrigerator temporarily (I think) parked in one of the closets (an ingenious solution, but different than the advertised breakfast). On the other hand, you could customize your breakfast and guarantee that it was freshly prepared, though you prepared it yourself. The room door was locked via knob and deadbolt locks operated by keys. It’s not the most modern security, but appeared to work well enough. The rooms appear to be all or mostly second floor. I don’t know whether accessible rooms are available or not. If you have accessibility issues you may want to check with the hotel before booking. The Silver Horseshoe is a bit of a work in progress at the moment, but I think it would be worth checking out a little down the road. The owners seem committed to getting things right, and the good customer service showed that."
