"We were pleasantly surprised at how clean and spacious the 2 queen room was and how comfortable the beds were as well. This was a very convenient location for a very affordable rate, we will stay here again if we are back in this area."

"The stay was great! I had no interruptions and my car was safe the whole time there. The staff was nice. Only issue I wish the room would have been a little more cleaner and nicer. "

Texas A&M Hotel and Conference Center
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel was near the college, which made it easy to explore. All the dining options were fantastic. The only issue we had was that the rooms didn't seem to block noise from the hallway. Every night, we were woken up by noises in the hallway. "
"I thought everything was great! Nice and clean room, no carpet, clean bathroom, minimalistic, clean beds, comfortable. The only thing I didn’t like was that the lobby was so big but the breakfast options were few. Also there wasn’t a water bottle refill station, we had to go to the pool area to access the water fountains."
"The place was great! Great size, had a kitchen and also some appliances like a toaster and such so you can cook. they also provided soap to wash the dishes, too! This hotel is seriously a great place to stay! "
"We had a GREAT time at this property. Loved so many things about the house. Hot water that NEVER ran out, the air conditioner worked AMAZING. The mattresses were great. The floor plan worked great with our large group. Had a fun time playing in the garage. We never had time to try out the patio/backyard, but wish we could’ve. We have absolutely NO complaints Ioved our time there and I will highly recommend others to stay there."

"This was very convenient for my son and I to stay while he attended Texas and baseball camp. It was very close to the ballpark, and had everything we needed. I will definitely book again."
"A great place to stay and felt lucky it was still available for our needs. Everything we needed was close by, the cost to stay was so much better than a hotel, the neighborhood was quiet, as well. This would be the perfect place to stay for football game on game day!! We have no complaints. Would stay again if we ever get down to College Station. "
"We were in College Station for my son’s New Student Conference at Texas A&M University. It was his grandparents first time in town. Staying at the howdy house was a great experience. The house was cozy, clean, and decorated beautifully. We will definitely be back! "

"I was a little nervous to make a VRBO reservation because we have had a few bad experiences with other house rentals in College Station (in general). However, Gig ‘Em Getaway did not disappoint! From the moment we walked in, their home was welcoming and very clean. Catherine and Mark went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible, including Charmin Ultra Soft toilet paper! The little touches, comfortable beds, cozy sectional couch, and well-supplied kitchen were much appreciated. We had a slight hiccup with the microwave, but the response time after texting was quick and very helpful. My only feedback is that the bunk beds are suitable for small children, not necessarily adults. The backyard is large enough to have a small gathering, and the hosts added some amenities to make it a pleasant and memorable experience for our family. The location of the house is convenient to the campus, grocery store, and many other desirable places. Highly Recommend!"
