"The hosts and the reviews lived up to our expectations. Great Location, the local pubs were very welcoming and the food in the instow Arms was very nice. "
"A beautiful view from the room. Appledore is very lovely. Able to park opposite the accommodation in the evenings. Good welcome and breakfast at the Royal George."
"Fantastic retreat, off the beaten track but worth it if you are after a quiet stay.
The hosts were excellent, lots of communication and available to help if you need anything. "
"Saunton Sands is undoubtedly one of the best hotels in Devon with a stunning view, first-class customer service, a superb restaurant and excellent facilities for all age groups. The Spa and swimming pool are exceptional."
"This is a nice property that's had love and care poured into restoring it. The property is however over-marketed (and over-priced) in our opinion.
Expedia market as a 'cottage' and the pin shows a central Woolacombe location. Its actually in a holiday/residential park above Woolacombe. The park its in has a run down feel to it and the first impression was of deep disappointment. Once you've moved in then its a lovely property on the inside. The garden is communal - there is no division...

"We had a really comfortable stay at this beautiful location. Staff so friendly too. It was simply fitting all our needs and exceeded our expectations in terms of breakfast and size of the room."
"Lovely property, great for families. Good location . Attractions close by and supermarket and petrol 5 min away . They add little extras so everything is there for you . The milk kiosk attached to the dairy farm is a must . "
"If you want a no thrills family getaway then this is the place for you. The room was very basic with no amenities apart from 2 showers and a separate toilet with a wash basin which was located in the main room. The beds consisted of bunk style beds which were built into the walls and looked really cool if not very dusty. Bed linen was provided which was clean but the duvets and pillows could have been replaced as we're showing signs of age. It is advertised as having a cafe and a shop for buying essentials but we were there 3 days and didn't see it open once. So bring your own food and supplies. There is also nothing to cook with in the rooms so bring a camping cooked if you want to cook. If we had known the shop and the cafe wasn't open we would have prepared a bit more. We only paid £60 per night for the stay so it was cheap but the lack of any mod cons did t really warrant paying anymore. "
"The Coach House was very comfortable and the swimming pool rota meant I had lots of opportunities to swim with the pool to myself. The gardens were lovely to walk around and the area very peaceful."

"We had a fantastic week in this amazing property. Lots of room to spread out, very comfy bedrooms. Lovely walk to the coastline and Westward Ho! Only disappointment was the pool being not very inviting and garden furniture needs replacing. Otherwise a great place for a family holiday."
