“Nicely designed hotel. Comfy bed and spacious room. ”

“Good: The hotel is well located and impressive in its public areas. All the staff are friendly and polite The breakfast is very good Not so good: The room itself was not too impressive. The room was stuffy, safe didn’t work, and the shower was a trickle. Overall location 10 out of 10 so if you are out and about exploring York all day and arriving/departing by train it would be good choice. If you want to relax in your room then I would recommend a different room category or another hotel. ”

“Beautiful hotel and very nice bathroom, bed was comfortable. Quiet environment and around 20 mins walk to city centre. Only thing is we have big luggage but there is no lift.”

“Building and rooms a little tired. No air conditioning and when asked receiption about the loud banging noise in the air circulation unit was just told to turn it off! Room didn’t have the water that should have been provided as part of the room, however when questioned this was provided without question. Cleaner never came but again reception sorted for us. All in all, the staff we spoke to on reception, the pool and breakfast room were all excellent and extremely helpful. This made the……

“Really great stay. We love the hotel indigo in York having stayed there a few times in the past. We weren't disappointed this time and everything was perfect. The staff were lovely and the room really nice. Rachel also arranged for us to have the romance package as it was our 30th wedding anniversary. Couldn't have asked for more. ”
