Simpsons Gap is one of the most prominent gaps in the West MacDonnell Ranges just 18 kilometres from Alice Springs in the Red Centre of Australia.

Featuring towering cliffs, a permanent waterhole, and opportunities to spot the rare black-footed rock wallabies in the late morning.
The "Ochre Pits" was a cool place to visit on our drive along the Red Centre Way drive, about 100 kilometres from Alice Springs in the Northern Territory of Australia.

The pits consist of multi-coloured layered rock traditionally used by the aboriginal people for painting and decoration in ceremonies, still used today!
Located in the West MacDonnell Ranges, this beautiful spot has a permanent waterhole and is home to black-footed wallabies and birds. Easily accessible via a bitumen road, the walk to the waterhole is only about 20 mins.
