"The property is very small (maximum of 6 guests), and is essentially a renovated old farmhouse. That’s what makes it so quaint and unique, plus it’s very quiet. The host is extremely friendly, and since it’s a B&B we had a really nice breakfast cooked for us in the morning. The only downside (thankfully we didn’t run into this issue) is that the two “standard” rooms share a bathroom. I feel like this should be stated VERY clearly and up front in the listing. I certainly don’t want to pay $100 ...

"This is an amazing property and BnB. Steve and Teresa were absolutely wonderful! The property is gorgeous with plenty of walking areas. Quiet and night, but close to Gettysburg. Our room, as the rest of the house was very clean. Breakfast was delicious. Steve and Teresa are great! Friendly, attentive, informative and a pleasure to spend time with. This is the only place we will stay when in Gettysburg and can’t wait to go back!"

"The place is beautiful. I’ve only stayed there for one night on a work trip, but I got to enjoy the outdoors with a coffee in the afternoon, an amazing home cooked breakfast and a lovely chat with the owner. The room was exactly as pictured, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was so cute! It’s a real bed and breakfast, you feel home and welcomed. A unique property that’s worth a stay!"

"The room was lovely, and the whole experience was just great. Two suggestions. A reading light on both sides of the bed was sorely missed, and lighting in the bathroom was dim. I must admit I looked terrific in the miror, but putting on makeup was a challenge. Aside from that, Steve and KJ, you get five stars. Best, Enid and Paul"

"My wife and I had a great time staying at the Jackson House. The owners were so friendly, accommodating, the breakfast/cookies/coffee were fabulous. We look forward to our next trip here. The trail is right outside and a good excuse to get some steps in each day."
