The Neighborhood: The Sequoia Motel, completely renovated in 2023, is located in Three Rivers, CA., about 5 minutes from the Sequoia National Park entrance. Three Rivers is a small, creative Sierra Nevada foothill village, with businesses and residences following the five forks of the Kaweah River. It is the gateway town for the Ash Mountain Main Entrance to Sequoia-Kings Canyon National Park home of the largest living things on earth, the Giant Sequoia trees. Getting Around: We suggest using your own vehicle to get around. The Sequoia Shuttle runs during summer months with stops throughout the National Park. In the winter, make sure to carry snow chains and check road conditions. Other Things to Note: There are nine guest rooms: 6 king rooms, and 3 queen & futon rooms. If you'd like to book more than one room, please let us know. Parking is limited, please bring 1-2 vehicles max. We're about 5 minutes to the National Park entrance, please check park and weather conditions before traveling. Jan 1, 2026 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy We had a comfortable and great stay at Sequoia Motel for the Christmas weekend with our pup! The rooms are labeled and parking is right in front of the rooms. Keypad is on the door. Everything was clean, appreciated the keurig dual pods/coffee pot and extra mugs and microwave and mini fridge/freezer. Make sure you bring water for your coffee/hot cocoa/tea needs. Bed was comfortable and we slept well after full days of adventures in Sequoia. Customer Service was pleasant through VRBO messaging and responsive.
