"The hotel is only 1 month old, and pristine as it should be. The rooms were comfortable and well laid out, the gym is better than most. The pool looked nice, simple but nice. The location is convenient for getting around Thunder Bay and the breakfast was a well stocked continental. This will be my go to hotel in Thunder Bay going forward."

"Nice large, clean rooms. Older building so some smells and noise travel easily throughout but was still a quiet stay. Comfortable bed. Parking good, no issues with security. Breakfast was a typical poor quality experience you’d find at an economy chain hotel but happy to see there was almond milk. They could make breakfast so much better since there’s not that many rooms. Real bacon, real eggs, fresh local baking, good coffee could make all the difference. Good thing downtown is close by"

"I had a ok stay, the price was decent and I would stay again if nothing else was available in that price range. Some of the staff was friendly, some not so much. The room was ok, breakfast in the restaurant was good."

"The property is old and a bit run down. Rooms are dated. Heating/cooling hit and miss. We were there for 2 nights and on the second night had a mouse in our room. The staff gave us a choice of rooms and am waiting for the manager to provide compensation as he said he was going to. The breakfast was limited and just ok. "

"It smelled so strong of weed when we first walked in. I opened the small window and didn’t notice it until I woke up to that smell again at 4am when the overhead ventilation kicked in. Very poor water pressure in the shower- took a long time to wet and rinse my hair out. Towels were all stained, shower curtain smelled terrible. Looks like the place was cleaned (or maybe not cleaned) by someone who doesn’t have much attention to detail. Luckily just spent 1 night, would have cancelled our stay if we hadn’t arrived so late at night. "
