The room was newly renovated and very nice. It was clean, very comfortable, nice and quiet. Enjoyed the room. Didn’t like the parking area way at the back but we were able to park near the door. I would stay there again.

Good location but getting into parking lot from the east was a challenge. (Making a left turn off Arthur street with on coming traffic coming off of one of Thunder Bays, busiest intersections) Best to enter parking lot from the west (right hand turn) Room and bathroom were not big- but adequate. Halls, reception area and breakfast room were clean and pleasant. Breakfast was the usual fare offered by most.

I stayed in three Comfort Inns during my travel accross Ontario. Surprisingly all three had excellent quality sheets, not the usual hotel / motel rough surface sheets that have seen a 1000 washes. So Comfort Inns appears to obtaining high quality sheets maybe 1000 thread count or more long staple cotton? And stipulating that the hotel operators retire sheets before they become merely a faint hope of a sheet. After the first Comfort Inn, picking the next two was easy in the cities I was stopping in for the night.
