"We were blessed with great weather and that served to enhance our stay. As Grandparents we occupied the pool house. This meant we had a peaceful haven at night away from the main house, but could join in the fun during the day time when family gathered around the Pool. We did do two day trips away from the house during the week, but to be honest we could just as easily stayed at the location all week, there was so much to do. "Every room was immaculately clean and tastefully dressed. The cupboards were well stocked with more than enough for 4 people. The weather was not good to us but would imagine in the spring/summer the outside space would add to the enjoyment of staying here. Will return to find out!"

"Lovely quaint cottage with absolutely everything you need...and more. We parked outside the village hall due to difficulty getting in and out of driveway with cars parked opposite. The garden was beautiful and we enjoyed our time sitting out there. Good location and Morrisons less than 5 mins drive away. The only negative is that it is right on a busy road and the cars drive very fast through the village."

"Lovely cottage, very clean, warm & cosy. Nice welcome pack on arrival, bread, butter, tea, coffee, OJ, milk, etc. Nice size secure garden for my two dogs. A little confusing to find at first, postcode stops you further down the road but the instructions from owner how to carry on are quite clear.Only downside for me was it being on a fairly busy country road, not mentioned in the listing, so it wasn't possible to take my dogs for just a local walk in the area and nearest dog walking area was 3...

"Wonderfully rustic property in a brilliant location. Hosts were gracious and welcoming and made sure we were settled. Local White Horse pub (minutes away, walkable if you're feeling energetic) is a must for their housemade pizza and in-house brewery. Great weekend getaway ... highly recommended."

"We had a wonderful stay at Rose Cottage. It is the perfect little getaway, cosy and comfortable with a gorgeous open fire. Mark was a kind and helpful host, even lending us a Yorkshire puddings tray to make Sunday Roast! Highly recommend "
