15 min walk and you can go to train station and go to Milan cheaper than go to Malpensa airport and take a bus or train to Milan. Before 22:45 you can reserve a seat in hotel bus service if you landed in Malpensa. A quick walk to the train station and ferry ports. It's also super close to the main town which offers a lot of dining options. Although the reception is located by the main street, you need to go up several steps beside the building to get to the back where the rooms are located. There's also no elevator so be prepared to lug your bags up and down some stairs. Very good options for breakfast (mostly cold, with scrambled eggs and bacon offered) but quite a generous spread. Although it can be quite easy to hear traffic from the main road outside the windows, there's not much traffic in the first place because of how small the town is. Overall, a wonderful stay.

What can I say? This hotel was absolutely amazing, from the top-notch hotel service at the front desk to the property cleanliness; it outshined every hotel I’ve ever been to in my life. The town of Menaggio is very walkable and can be seen in half a day, so if you want to fill up your itinerary, you can take a ferry to Bellagio, or Varenna. We opted for breakfast, and oh my goodness, it was amazing. I absolutely loved their orange juice, as well as the variety of food they offered, from the charcuterie to the main dishes to the snacks. Absolutely amazing. The hotel itself is a pretty big property for being in Maggio. Its cleanliness, gym, indoor spa with an indoor pool, sauna, and resting areas were absolutely amazing and should definitely be utilized. I want to thank Lorena, who was so helpful throughout our stay, from beginning to end. She was absolutely amazing, and the women at the front desk who assisted us absolutely deserve a raise because they work so hard and helped us with absolutely everything. I proposed to my girlfriend right in front of the hotel, and the hotel staff accommodated all my requests in helping me propose to my girlfriend of nine years, and it was just so perfect. They were helpful, kind to all of us, and we would definitely go back in a heartbeat. This is well worth your money because who knows if you’ll ever be back again so make those unforgettable memories with Grand Hotel Victoria!
