Breakfast was delicious: meat and cheese plates, pasties, yogurt, granola, breads, fruits, coffees and juices. The location is an 8 minute walk from the train station. Plenty of great restaurants within walking distance. This location is perfect as a home base: within an hour you could be at Lake Como or multiple ski areas. You can ride the UNESCO listed Bernina Express to Switzerland right in Tirano. I can't say enough good things about Andrea and Ostello del Castello. Stay here. You won't be disappointed!" We got snacks & wine on our way back from our day out, planning to eat in our room, and we couldn't even get glasses etc as the whole place was locked up when we got back at 8pm (rooms are accessed via a back door). Just need to know & plan for that. Otherwise we had a good stay. Omar kindly gave us a packed breakfast for our early morning departure."
